Verbier

Verbier sits at 1,500 metres on a south-facing shelf above the Rhône Valley, high enough that the light lasts into the late afternoon and the village stays in view from almost every terrace. The skiing climbs to 3,330 metres, with the off-piste terrain that made the resort's name and enough groomed pistes for a family week. The village itself is cosmopolitan and walkable: a Place Centrale, a handful of streets, a season from mid-December into April, and Geneva two hours away by road. Koja d'Or is based in the valley below, in Le Châble, and our homes here have the widest range of any destination we operate: four chalets let by the week, from a four-bedroom family home to a seven-bedroom address on the lake at Le Hameau, and five residences let by the school term, the winter season or the year.

Getting there and getting around

Geneva Airport is about two hours by road, and we arrange the transfer. For private aircraft, Sion is under an hour away and Lausanne a little further.

Chalet Makini is ski-in, ski-out at Le Hameau, with the Le Rouge lift 100 metres from its ski room. Chalet Peter Pan stands one minute from the Place Centrale and three minutes by car from Médran. Chalet Virmadisa sits above the village in the Savoleyres sector, three minutes by car from the new Télémixte at Carrefour, the lift that now carries skiers between Les Ruinettes and the Savoleyres-La Tzoumaz ski area without taking their skis off, with a beginners' zone planned at Les Planards, its middle station. Chalet La Vigne is eight minutes by car from the same lift, on its own private hillside above Patier. From Famille upwards a driver is part of the house, so the lift is wherever you want it to be; at Essential and Concierge, La Vigne and Peter Pan are best enjoyed with a car.

How a stay works

Verbier is where every one of our five service levels is available, and the choice is less about how much you want done than about how you like a day to feel. Essential hands you the keys to a home kept immaculate: housekeeping every day, lift passes delivered and skis fitted in the boot room, champagne waiting on arrival, and our local concierge a message away when you want a table, a guide or a mountain restaurant booked. Concierge adds a chalet manager, the same trusted hand running the house and arranging the resort around you. Famille is built for the long table: a private chef cooking breakfast every morning and dinner five nights of the seven, served family-style, with a driver at the start and end of the ski day. Silver is the staffed chalet in a quieter key: the chef at breakfast, afternoon tea and six dinners, hosts at the table, turn-down in the evening and a driver from eight in the morning until one at night. Gold is the whole house in service of the week: a butler leading hosts present from seven until one, a chef designing menus around the party and its moods, fresh flowers in every bedroom, laundry and linen looked after, and a chauffeur ready whenever the day changes its mind.

La Vigne and Virmadisa offer all five levels, Peter Pan from Concierge upwards, and Makini at Gold alone. Food and wine are bought for you and billed at cost. In summer, when all four chalets open their terraces, the same team shifts the rhythm to lunches outside and dinners after the light goes, as you prefer. Both grids are on the Services page.

Longer stays

Verbier is the only destination where we let homes for more than a week, and it is where families come to try a term before committing to a move, or to settle in for the school year. Three terms exist, with dates and rates indicative and adjusted per booking.

A school term is three months, aligned to the International School's dates. Chalet La Vigne, four bedrooms for six adults and four children with an indoor pool, is available from 3 January to 28 March 2027 from CHF 300,000. Appartement Coprin, a four-bedroom duplex for eight adults a short walk from the Médran lifts, is available from 10 January to 28 March 2027 from CHF 146,000.

The winter season runs from 15 December to 15 April. Chalet Peter Pan, six bedrooms for ten adults and four children one minute from the Place Centrale, is available from 3 January to 2 April 2027 from CHF 499,900. Chalet La Datcha, five en-suite bedrooms for ten adults in the village centre with its own spa and an 87 m² terrace, is from CHF 501,200 with bills included.

For a full year, La Datcha is from CHF 615,000, and Apartment Nadal, a four-bedroom penthouse for eight adults at Le Hameau with three indoor parking spaces, from CHF 300,000. Terms and what each home includes are on the Seasonal and yearly page.

Which Verbier chalet suits six adults and four children with an indoor pool?

Chalet La Vigne, exactly. Six adults take the master suite and two en-suite bedrooms, one of which converts to a twin; the four children have a bunk room with four full-sized beds and its own bathroom. The pool, hammam and gym are one floor down. If the party may grow, Chalet Peter Pan holds ten adults and four children with an indoor pool of its own, one minute from the Place Centrale.

Where can ten adults and their children stay together in Verbier?

Two homes hold ten adults and four children. Chalet Virmadisa, above the village at Savoleyres, has a separate mazot with its own living space, which suits grandparents who want their own front door. Chalet Peter Pan is the village option, with an indoor pool and a bunk room for four beside the spa. For a larger party of adults, Chalet Makini takes fourteen across seven en-suite bedrooms, at Gold.

Do you offer self-catered stays in Verbier?

Yes, at Chalet La Vigne and Chalet Virmadisa, under Essential: the keys, daily housekeeping, lift passes delivered, skis fitted in the chalet and a concierge by phone. Peter Pan starts at Concierge, and Makini is Gold. Food and wine are bought at cost at every level, so the step from Essential to Famille is the chef's time and the driver, not the shopping.
